Due to budget constraints, the City of Gaithersburg is considering closing two of their remaining four gallery spaces: City Hall Gallery and the gallery at Bohrer Park. The Bohrer Park Activity Center itself will remain open. Please let our city council members know if you are concerned about this.

The Arts Barn Gallery presents Arts Barn Gallery presents Emancipation, a sculpture and photography show, on display from May 14 through July 11. An artist�s reception will be held on Tuesday, June 8 from 7 to 8:30 p.m. The Arts Barn is located at 311 Kent Square Road in Gaithersburg.
The Arts Barn has many classes in drawing, painting and crafts, including member Howard Cohen�s Beginning/Intermediate Oil Painting class starting in late June. You can visit the Arts Barn online at www.gaithersburgmd.gov/artsbarn, email artsbarn@gaithersburgmd.gov or call 301-258-6394.

The City of Gaithersburg presents a multi media exhibit by members of Montgomery Art Association, Inc. and the sculpture of Heruy Alemayehu at the Activity Center at Bohrer Park, 506 South Frederick Avenue in Gaithersburg, Maryland. Exhibition dates are May 7 through July 4. Viewing hours are Monday through Saturday from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Activity Center at Bohrer Park, 506 South Frederick Avenue in Gaithersburg, Maryland.
